Hi! I'm Jen Sevilla, or Miss Jen to my students.
As a child, I was the piano student whose parents wouldn't let her quit. Years later, I became the parent who wouldn't let her son quit—and today he's a skilled musician. Those experiences taught me the value of patience, perseverance, and making music enjoyable along the way.
That's one of the reasons I love teaching MYC. My classes are structured, but my teaching style is relaxed, positive, and encouraging. I believe in progress over perfection and strive to create a supportive environment where children can develop musical skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of music.

Angel Dane Sevilla is a Toronto based classical pianist and aspiring pedagogue, currently studying under Charles Lin. Angel is entering third year of his Bachelor of Music at the University of Toronto.
Although at an early stage of his career, Angel has years experience teaching children in both Marital Arts and piano. He has been heard and seen in acclaimed concert spaces in the Greater Toronto Area such as Walter Hall, and the Steinway Piano Gallery Toronto. Additionally, he has performed as a pianist and choral musician in
numerous Toronto churches such as Grace Church on-the-hill, Church of St. Mary Magdalene, and Church of the Redeemer. As Angel continues to pursue his higher education he enjoys
working with youth and fellow aspiring professional musicians in the Greater Toronto Area to spread the knowledge and skill of music performance.

Parents are essential to the success of this program, and are a very special part of the process. Each child is accompanied to every class by a parent/guardian. They are not only involved as their child's 'music partner' in class, but at home as well. Parents learn along with their child, and the time spent together in class and during practice at home, is often a bonding experience that gives parent and child time together.

Of course it's really all about the kids. Students come to MYC® music class because they learn, they make friends, and it's fun!
